David Toews

Committed to play for the Sioux starting in 2008

Played part of 1 season with the Colorado Outlaws. Currently a Senior at Shattuck St. Mary's Prep School (MN). David led Shattuck in scoring as a Junior despite playing on the 2nd line and having a broken arm for part of the year. Drafted in the 4th round of the WHL Draft. He likely would have been a first round pick, but many WHL teams believed that he would choose to play NCAA Hockey.

The younger brother of former Fighting Sioux Jonathon Toews.
