Robbie Bina is a 5th year Senior defenseman for North Dakota. Robbie was red shirted for the 2005 - 2006 season after suffering a broken neck in the 2005 WCHA Final Five. Robbie was checked from behind after a whistle had blown the play dead by Denver University's Geoff Paukovich.
Robbie made a strong comeback in 2006 - 2007 scoring 10 goals and 32 points including a 180 ft. goal on a short handed clearing attempt against the then #1 ranked University of Minnesota.

Robbie was arrested and charged with aiding an escape after an incident at Judy's bar in Grand Forks. The charges were found to be completely without merit and were subsequently dropped.
